Floyd - I started hunting deer and small game in 1977 and have taken many deer with both gun and bow. I now prefer to bow hunt. I started hunting black bear in 1999, since then I have hunted black bear in Wisconsin, Maine and four Canadian provinces. I have taken 24 bear all with archery equipment including six that qualify for the Pope and Young record books. I have also harvested a Pope and Young Canadian moose in Ontario using archery equipment. Since 1998, My wife Linda and I have operated Big Woods Taxidermy, LLC., in Oconto Falls Wisconsin, which is a full time studio with our major focus being on black bear. We take in 100 plus black bear yearly which gives us a very intricate knowledge of the black bear. We live bears and bear hunting, as our brochure says "Let's talk bear hunting". In 2004 we opened Big Woods Bear Bait which has grown into one of the largest bear bait suppliers in the country.

Linda - I started hunting in 2000, both archery and gun. I have taken many of nice whitetails, including a Pope and Young buck. In 2003 I started the bear hunting addiction. Since then I have taken 23 bears, 2 with the gun, and 18 with archery, including five Pope and Young. I have hunted in Quebec, Saskatchewan, Ontario, Manitoba,Maine and Wisconsin. Since 1998, my husband Floyd and I have operated Big Woods Taxidermy, LLC., in Oconto Falls Wisconsin, which is a full time studio with our major focus on black bear. We live bears and bear hunting, as our brochure says, "Let's talk bear hunting". In 2004 we opened Big Woods Bear Bait which has grown into one of the largest bear bait suppliers in the country.

Several years ago we started working with Dave and Ron as members of their Big Bear Scents LLC pro-staff and retailing their products and found it to be far superior to any attractants we had tried.

In the fall of 2011 we were given the opportunity to take over operations of the company. We are so confident in the strength and quality of the Big Woods Big Bear Scents LLC™ line of products that we decided to buy the company ! We look forward to helping many more hunters pursue Black Bears with the same passion we do.
